The essential, evidence-based techniques for anyone who works with women.
Learn how to use the principle of specificity when training your female clients for birth, postpartum recovery, and into perimenopause and menopause! This will involve understanding the unique challenges that women encounter from the effects of pregnancy and birth on the body, to the massive hormone shifts in menopause, and tailoring your training accordingly to help your clients build the strength and endurance they need for whatever stage of life they are in.
Right now, you know...
Diastasis Recti exists - but do you know how to tell if someone has it (or what to do about it if they do?) You should..
A bit about the pelvic floor, but maybe it is only 'do your Kegels!' (which is not always the right answer, unfortunately.).
Many women struggle with back pain and abs not working right after babies but are unsure what to do
Women want to feel strong but are avoiding certain movements and you would like to know why and what to do to help.
During the course, you will gain..
A better understanding of what Diastasis Recti and pelvic floor dysfunction really are.
Knowledge about what movement practices help guide women to better core health and fitness so they can live better and with confidence at any life stage.
An awareness of how to evaluate the safety of an exercise and if it is appropriate for your client.
Knowledge on who needs core retraining and how to assess and progress your clients regardless of their stage of life.
A bigger library of exercises that are diastasis and pelvic floor friendly (hint...it's not always about the exercise but about the execution - we teach you all that in the course).
Female Core & Pelvic Floor Certification
You'll gain a solid understanding of how to introduce functional movements to your female clients for all stages of life with regard to the deep core and pelvic floor so your clients can return to the activities they love without having to worry about leaking or other pelvic floor issues!
Assess clients with confidence
Prescribe corrective exercises and personalized recommendations
Empower your clients to use these strategies for life
It’s like two certs in one!
We took our Core Confidence Certification and added a ton of additional information specific to pregnancy, birth and postpartum recovery so fitness professionals would have ALL the key information, no matter what stage of life their client is in.
Core Confidence Specialist
You will have a full library of exercises you can use with your clients for life: exercises that promote a healthy, functional pelvic floor, a strong core, and all without the common challenges that many people think are normal after having a baby.
Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist
This adds in the principle of specificity for training women in pregnancy to ensure they remain strong and pain-free, and can birth with strength and confidence. Prepare your clients for recovery and ensure they know the essential moves to promote healing and core restoration.
After completion of the Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist Certification, you will get these two badges!

FAQs
It's a great fit for anyone who works with women - fitness professionals, physiotherapists, yoga instructors, pilates instructors, chiropractors, massage therapists - you will all gain valuable knowledge from this course. (and ps...for the male professionals...unless you work strictly with men, then this course is for you too!) (pps...the information in this course, while female centric, really applies to anyone. We ALL have pelvic floors and inner core units that benefit from intentional training).
You’ll receive access to the online coursework after you purchase, and we ask that you complete at least the anatomy modules, the lessons on pelvic floor dysfunction, and diastasis recti prior to the practical days in February, as we’ll do a quick review of the anatomy and then work through the assessment, releases, and exercises while with you in person.
There are small exams for each module as well as a case study at the end of the course that must be submitted for review before certification is awarded.
We get it - there are so many courses out there and it's tough to know which ones are worthwhile and which ones to budget for.
Our course was created by a pelvic floor physiotherapist and 2 movement professionals - that's 3 instructors for the price of 1!
Originally, we were one of the only courses that covered this information and now we have some competition. We pride ourselves on continuing to evolve with the research and ensure the course is always up to date. Our price is actually less expensive that some of our competitors. The learning you'll take away from our courses will blow your mind and truly elevate your expertise. Totally worth the investment! (in our humble opinion).PLUS you get a FREE copy of our Pregnancy Fitness book and two full days of in-person practical application of the concepts you learn in the online component.
If you work with women who may become pregnant or who have been pregnant at some point in their lives, this course is for you.
Please reach out to Natalie at hello@trainernatalie.com for payment plan options.
Access to online modules begins 1 month before live certification dates.
